Flutterflow is a great tool for quickly building an app that accepts customer payments and subscriptions using its built in payment integrations such as Stripe, Braintree, Revenue Cat and RazorPay. This helps app builders get monitized creating value for app users and builders in a way faster that what was possible before.
In the Legacy community forum, I saw some Flutterflow users talk about scenarios where the in-built payment integrations are not supported in the local country of your users , the best way to tackle handling payments from users is to use Flutterflow's Custom API feature or create your own Google Cloud function for integrating any the Local Payment Service provider into your Flutterflow app.
Since Abel Mengistu, the founder of Flutterflow, has Ethiopian roots and I am from Kenya, I tried to build an app called "Rari X"
Preview link: https://app.flutterflow.io/share/rari-x-aawmx9
This is built for accepting cashless payments in any Public Service Vehicle in East Africa. Since If I want to I can build it to accept payments from Customers in all of Africa. This is a scenario where none of the built in payments integrations in Flutterflow could have allowed the app users to transact. It is really Mind-blowing to be able to use Flutterflow to build an app that can work anywhere in the world.
Note: The Rari project is Incomplete So Much of the pages will change. The most important page is the Homepage where users can click on the topup button to load their wallet.
