Since Cloud Functions for Firebase is built on top of Google Cloud Functions, we’re writing to let you know about some changes that are being made to the Google Cloud Functions runtime support schedule. The support schedule has been updated to include decommission dates for deprecated runtime versions. This support schedule will have an impact on your functions as a Cloud Functions for Firebase user.
After the decommission date, you can no longer create new functions or update existing functions using the decommissioned runtime. Existing functions will not be turned down and will keep processing requests or events.
