Cannot see Widget State

I am trying to get the content of a text box and pass it to a variable in an API call. The problem is that I don't have the item Widget State that allows that.

I don't see that option anywhere in the tool. I am using the web based version with a free plan, to start experimenting.

What have you tried so far?

I tried to add a variable in the Page State, but I have the same problem: the item Widget State is not in the list of sources I can use
