Cannot Test API from a different computer with local IP address

I work in a space with computers connected under a cloud, with a local IP root. One of my acquaintances in the workplace is working on an API (with the platform InjtelliJ IDEA) with a POST Method, and has given me the link to it, however when I test it into my app, even with the definitive IP of the computer and the API link synchronized I get a computer error. What is missing?

What have you tried so far?

I have tried testing the API, going to my partner's computer and synching our IP addresses in the local wifi, modifying the API link multiple times to coincide with the IP address of the other computer time and time again, without success.
