Change or reset placepicker button label

Widgets & Design

Hey guys! I am getting into the world of FF and so far, loving it!
I've been playing around building some cool stuff but I got stuck with the placekicker and I can't find any resources to get me out of the hole.

When users want to enter their location, they edit their profile. In there, they find a placepicker that once clicked and the address entered, the address is shown above the placepicker button.

What I see is that the legend of the button changes from "Select location" to the "street" part of the address (see images below). I don't want that. If anything, I would like it to display "Change location" as the legend. But I would be fine with the original.

I cannot find a way to reset the legend; or store the address In a page variable and simply reset the whole placepicker button to its original state. Also for some reason, the placepicker doesn't allow actions, only actionblocks... is that correct and intentional?

Am I missing something? It's not a big deal but sometimes it frustrates me that things ARE there but maybe collapse or there is a reason why not shown/possible.

What have you tried so far?

I digged the documentation, look for other users with the same issues, tried different approaches or action but cannot achieve the desired goal.

Did you check FlutterFlow's Documentation for this topic?
