Collect Longitude and Latitude from GoogleMaps Widget

Context:
I want users to be able to create an event and to select the location on GoogleMaps.
Therefore, I want to collect the Lng/Lat of a long press on the map.

Would anyone give me a hint on how to update the page state of my two variables? If no solution exists, should I try to do it with placepicker?

What have you tried so far?

I have explored almost every topic on the community but I do not find my answer. Gemini is not up to date and unable to help. I have tried custom expression based on latLng.latitude without success. I apologize in advance, I have no prior code experience.
