Custom function does not recognize document reference as a valid datatype

Custom Code

Currently in my project, I have inputted this marketplace item (https://marketplace.flutterflow.io/item/UxpXh7z5IX4Idd8woHub) and have duplicated it in order to edit the content inside. However, upon inputting it and changing the document type to the one I am using, it has resulted in this kind of visual error.

The other functions work, however it does not detect anything that relates to a different record.

However, when inputting the code at another fresh project, the compiler recognizes this datatype and does not show any errors.

Does anyone else experience this? How would I resolve it, as I desperately need the code to accept documents as a datatype in order to work.

What have you tried so far?

I have tried making a new copy of the function, refreshing Flutterflow, etc. The issue still persists
