Deleting user problem - too long since most recent sign in

Whenever I try to use the firebase delete account option, I get this error if I've been logged in for awhile

What have you tried so far?

I tried deleting the account right after logging in and that works. This error only comes when I've been logged in for awhile. I put a text field for the isUserLoggedIn field and it always says true so I'm not sure why it wants me to sign in again
