Dropdown menu not showing the right information

Troubleshooting

Hi, Steve here. I am working on an app and got stuck.

I created a collection called "tone". Each document in the collection has two fields: "name" (of the tone) and "tier" (depending on the tier, the user will be limited to certain tones)

I want a dropdown to show the available tones, so the user can choose one.

I created a query on my Home page, relating to the "tone document".

I placed a dropdown widget on the Home page, and set the Define Option Values and Define Option Labels accordingly. (screenshot)

However, out of the four tones, the only thing I see in the Dropdown is:
[tone document - tier 0]
[tone document - tier 1]
[tone document - tier 2]
[tone document - tier 3]

which look like placeholder text, instead of the real "name" and "tier" from the document.

I have lost days just on this one small issue and am starting to lose it.
As you might have guessed. I am not a dev or a coder of any kind. Just building stuff with Chat GPT.

Please, relieve me of my misery... What is the issue here?

What have you tried so far?

Chat GPT has been taking me in circles for days now. I just can't figure out what's wrong.

Did you check FlutterFlow's Documentation for this topic?
