Dynamic container height

I want to have effectively a vertical progress indicator.
I am trying to use 2 containers inside each other.
The parent container is 20% width and 30% heigh of screen
I want the child container inside the other to have a height of x% of the parent container height.

Is there a way to set a container width / height with a formula?

What have you tried so far?

I searched and tried several ways but having trouble to get the page or container widget values used. sources: forum and youtube + AI
