E-mail Verification Link not working

I tried to test run e-mail verification using the e-mail verification button it doesn't send any link to my e-mail address entered in the create account page. I intend for users to verify e-mail address before proceeding ahead with the account registration. This is the flow i have used so far. is there anything wrong with the flow?

What have you tried so far?

I have already tried to look into the community forum for similar issues but so far all the issues were in the advanced stage in relation to firebase issue. i am totally new to thing and would like to try to make it work
