Firebase backend switch

Have you ever used the new Firebase Environments feature yet ? As far as I'm concerned, the switch hasn't been made well. I'm on backend 1 and I switch to backend 2 (stage), I launch my local run with Android studio, and I'm still on backend 1. On the other hand, the environment values in dev environments change but not for firebase. Any ideas?

What have you tried so far?

I tried multiple time. Different ways . Unistall the app debug to see if the backend (firebase project ID ) will switch(answer: NO)
