Firestore Rules

I recently was working on the ToDoList App on the FF youtube channel. Its been great so far but theres one thing I'm particularly not understanding. I was wondering how to set up the Firestore rules and good practices. If someone could explain to me best practices for the two collections I have which are Users and Tasks.

What have you tried so far?

I've looked through the task app videos but couldn't find what I needed. Its giving me a warning that firestore rules may be too open or something like that. I'd appreciate if someone could explain how this stuff works and how they structure things.
