I’m Jorge, a 4th-year Software Engineering student, and I’m starting to build an app designed for the Spanish market.
This is my first project with FlutterFlow, and while I’m comfortable with software concepts, I’d really appreciate your guidance, resources, or even pointers to similar projects that could help me learn faster and avoid common pitfalls.
What is?
A simple, secure app for employees to:
→ Clock in/out (manual + geofenced auto-check-in, opt-in)
→ Request vacations, view schedules, access/sign digital payslips
→ Receive push notifications (shift reminders, approvals)
And for HR/Admins to:
→ Manage schedules, approve requests, generate reports (daily/weekly/monthly)
→ Export data to payroll/accounting systems
→ View analytics (overtime, trends)
Fully GDPR-compliant: explicit consent for location, only entry/exit events stored, data deletion supported
Built for SMEs in Spain, with plans for multi-language (ES/EN/PT/IT/SE) and App Store/Google Play release after a pilot test

Learning resources:
Are there any tutorials, courses, or documentation you’d recommend for someone building a real-world, production-ready app in FlutterFlow (not just a to-do list)?
Similar projects or templates:
Has anyone here built a time-tracking, attendance, or HR app in FlutterFlow? Even partial examples (e.g., geofencing logic, report dashboards, PDF viewers) would be incredibly helpful!
Geofencing & offline support:
I plan to use geolocator + geofencing plugins via Custom Code.
→ Is this reliable in FlutterFlow?
→ Are there working examples or GitHub repos I can learn from?
→ Any tips for offline check-in with later sync (e.g., using Hive or local storage)?
GDPR & best practices:
How have others handled location consent, data minimization, and user data deletion in FlutterFlow + Firebase apps?
Plan recommendation:
I’m considering the Growth plan ($80/mo) to remove the watermark and use branches — does that sound right for this scope?
Why I’m Reaching Out:
I’m working on this part-time alongside my studies, and my goal is to deliver a professional, compliant, and scalable MVP for a real pilot test with companies. I don’t want to reinvent the wheel — if there are templates, community projects, or proven patterns, I’d love to learn from them!
