FlutterFlow is slow as hell

Troubleshooting

After latest FF update, everything in the online builder is moving at snail's pace. I've already cleared cache/cookies, tried incognito mode, etc. Nothing has helped. My project is fairly heavy but never ran this poorly before latest update. Now it takes 10 minutes to do a task that should take seconds, and that's if FF doesn't crash first. I've tried using the downloadable FF app, which runs a bit faster, but I don't trust that changes will carry from app to web, as in the past, they did not. Also, I can't seem to make edits to custom code in the windows app, so that's useless.

Did FF decide to throttle our speed? If so, that's pretty shady. I know they're making pricing adjustments, which that in and of itself is bs. But if cuts in cost come with cuts in performance, FF is quickly losing my business, as I cannot complete customer tasks in the timeframe expected if I am battling with dial-up speeds in FF's development console. Unbelievable.

What have you tried so far?

Cleared cache/cookies. Tried incognito mode. Tried different browsers. FF speed is garbage across all of them. Works better in windows app, but that comes with its own set of issues and isn't an ideal solution.

Did you check FlutterFlow's Documentation for this topic?
