FlutterFlow Push Notifications – “Could not sign in as [email protected] ” error despite Email Sign-In enabled

Actions & Logic

Hi team,

I’ve built 8 apps in FlutterFlow under the same Firebase account. While setting up Push Notifications, I receive the following error:

“Could not sign in as [email protected] to your Firebase project. Make sure ‘Email Sign-In’ is turned on for your Firebase project, and try again.”

Email/Password (Email Sign-In) is already enabled in my Firebase Authentication settings. I’ve reviewed similar threads but haven’t found a definitive solution. Could you advise what might be blocking authentication here and which additional settings/permissions (if any) are required?

Thanks in advance.

What have you tried so far?

I deleted the [email protected] account from Authentication and recreated it with Data Manager. Then I regenerated the config files. I tried many methods but it still doesn’t work. Also, when I recreate the user from Data Manager and try to send a notification, it gets stuck on Sending and after a long time it ends up timing out.

Did you check FlutterFlow's Documentation for this topic?
