FlutterFlow Windows Desktop App freezes and crashes when opening project

Troubleshooting

Hi everyone,

I’m currently experiencing an issue with the FlutterFlow Windows Desktop App.

Problem

When I open my project in the Windows desktop version of FlutterFlow, the project starts loading and shows:

Project code generating...
Analyzer Status: Project code generating...

Meanwhile, the entire FlutterFlow desktop app freezes and eventually crashes.

  • Platform: Windows Desktop App

  • FlutterFlow version: v7.0.3+

  • Flutter version shown in FlutterFlow: 3.38.5

  • Environment: Production

  • Project opens initially, but crashes during project code generation/analyzer initialization

The project works in general (web/macOS), but the Windows desktop app crashes while generating/analyzing the project code.

Has anyone experienced the same issue or knows how to fix this?
Is there a local cache folder or project analyzer cache that can be safely deleted on Windows?

What have you tried so far?

  • Restarted FlutterFlow

  • Restarted Windows

  • Reinstalled the FlutterFlow desktop app

  • Opened the project again after reinstalling

  • Checked that the project is synced

Unfortunately, the issue still happens every time I open this specific project.
