Fonts rendering differently in the builder vs. the test run version?

Widgets & Design

Hi everyone. Newbie to FlutterFlow here and wanted to ask a question on how my fonts are getting rendered.

I uploaded a custom font (SF Pro from Apple) and have set that to be both my primary and secondary fonts.

Everything looks fine and as I intended in the builder. See screenshot:

However, things are radically different once I run a test build for the app โ€” namely, the font weighting is so much heavier.

See screenshot:

It's been driving me nuts ๐Ÿ˜… anyone have any suggestions how I can resolve this?

What have you tried so far?

I've tried using all sorts of other fonts from Google (Inter, Inter Tight) and playing with the weighting but it's consistent โ€” fonts in the test run just look completely different and I can't predict it.

I've tried turning "Use CanvasKit" on and off but it's still looking differently.

Did you check FlutterFlow's Documentation for this topic?
