Get only unique value from a collection documents

I have a page with a dropdown whose values are sourced from a column in a collection. This column contains duplicate values. How can I filter these values to display only unique entries in the dropdown to avoid this error

What have you tried so far?

to do filter but i don't have the possibility of selecting unique values
