High CPU Chrome and Edge

Is anyone else experiencing high CPU usage when using FF in Chrome or Edge? Firefox is not a problem, although FF says it is not supported. The problem is with animations. Any progress loading indicator or any animation that shows up in FF, even for a short period, shoots up CPU to 70-80%.

What have you tried so far?

I also created a simple app with a simple fade animation on a loop. The same thing happens when running a test or publishing it to the web. Not in Firefox. I am using the latest version of Chrome and Edge on Windows 10.
