High Crash Rate After Mandatory Android SDK 35 Update

Troubleshooting

Hi FlutterFlow community,

I hope everyone is doing well. I'm reaching out because I'm experiencing a concerning issue after the recent mandatory Android compilation SDK version 35 update.

The Problem

Since updating my app on the Play Store with the new SDK requirements, I've been seeing an unusually high crash rate and user-perceived failure rate. This is quite alarming because my app maintained good stability when it was still running on SDK version 34.

App Details

  • Previous SDK version: 34 (stable performance)

  • Current SDK version: 35 (high crash rate)

  • Platform: Android (Play Store)

  • Additional context: My app integrates AdMob ads, which does add some complexity and weight to the application

Questions for the Community

  1. Is anyone else experiencing similar crash issues after upgrading to Android SDK 35?

  2. What could be potential root causes for this sudden instability?

  3. Are there any known compatibility issues between FlutterFlow apps and Android SDK 35?

  4. Could the AdMob integration be contributing to these crashes in the new SDK version?

Any insights, suggestions, or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. I'm happy to provide more technical details if needed.

Thanks in advance for your help! ๐Ÿ™
