How to add current date dynamically as a variable in API Call

I would like my "date" variable to be dynamically populated with the current date every time the api call is made. How can I do it, because as far as I see, I can only set a constant in my variable.

What have you tried so far?

I tried to set my variable dynamically, but i see only constants source here, i can t set the value of the app state for example.
