How to inspect app state contents in web publishing test mode?

I want to see the contents of an app state while I'm running the app in web-published test mode. Is there an established way to do this? I'm using the FlutterFlow app on a Mac.

What have you tried so far?

I can add an extra text field, say, to my page, and assign the contents of the app state to that so that I can see it in test mode, but this is clunky.
