How to remove floating label of textfield?

Hi all, I'm essentially trying to do what is explained in this Stack Overflow post: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/60091271/how-to-remove-label-of-textfield

I imagine there's a much easier way to do this than to pull the code into my IDE, modify the desired InputDecorations, and push the updated code back in FF.
