How to update Calendar widget "calendarSelectedDay"

Hey,

I have the calendar widget and I'm trying to figure out how to update the Widget State: calendarSelectedDay. Can someone help me update the calendar widget to a specific date from a variable?

What have you tried so far?

I've tried placing a variable in the "Initial Date (Optional)" field, then refreshing the page, but this doesn't work.
