Integrating Algolia with Multiple Collections in FlutterFlow

Integrations
Resolved

Hi everyone,

I’m currently working on integrating Algolia into my FlutterFlow app using the free BUILD plan. While the documentation doesn’t explicitly limit the free plan to a single index or collection, I’ve only been able to get search functionality working with a single collection when using Algolia’s native Firebase extension.

My app has multiple collections, and I’d ideally like Algolia to index more than one collection so I can have search capabilities across all of them. Has anyone here successfully set up Algolia to index multiple collections on the free BUILD plan, or has anyone found a workaround for this?

Any insights or alternative approaches would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance 💜 !

What have you tried so far?

I’ve set up Algolia in my FlutterFlow app using the native integration with the Firebase extension, and I’m on the free BUILD plan. This setup allows search functionality, but I can only get it working with one collection/index. I tried configuring it to index multiple collections, but Algolia seems limited to just that single collection in this setup. I haven’t found any settings or options to enable multiple collections within the free plan, so I’m looking for alternative approaches if anyone has experience with this.
