Issue with Multiline TextField on Mobile

I'm facing a problem with a multiline TextField on mobile devices. When I try to edit a long text, the cursor doesn't move to the position where I tap — it stays in the same place, making it very hard to edit. The page also behaves strangely, with unexpected scrolling and jumps.

I've tried several configurations:

  • Wrapping the TextField in a Container with fixed height

  • Using or disabling scroll views

  • Changing maxLines, expands, autofocus, and other properties

Nothing seems to solve the issue. Has anyone found a reliable setup to make multiline editing work properly on mobile in FlutterFlow?

What have you tried so far?

I’ve tried many configurations:

  • Wrapping the TextField inside Columns, Containers, and ScrollViews

  • Restricting the height of the container

  • Setting minLines, maxLines, expands, and other properties

  • Disabling autofocus

  • Placing the field on a separate page

But the behavior is always the same. Has anyone found a reliable way to make long text editing work smoothly on mobile devices in FlutterFlow?
