Not able to set value to a boolean operator in data structure of a list data type

I am trying to create an app task and not a coder. I want to change app state to done when checkbox for task is toggled on but my app state variable is boolean data structure field inside list. Not using dbs for now - just app local storage. Eveything else seems to work.

What have you tried so far?

I have tried reading all the posts but there is very little information on list variables or custom data structure
