To increase resilience and performance, the Play Integrity API is changing how it evaluates devices. This involves requiring hardware-backed security signals using Android Platform Key Attestation in addition to other changes.
The new verdicts from the Play Integrity API become the default in May 2025. However, you can opt-in to the new verdicts now.
