what I'm creating is not a dating app but does have similar functions that i do want to implement. one being an age gap filter for the backend query on my homepage. I have a dropdown that with displays labels up to 3 years, 7, and 10. basically, the age range within which the current user is willing to match with others based on their age gap preference For example, if the user's age gap preference is 3 years, and the current user's age is 25, the age range would be 22 to 28, so it's -3 or +3. I am not sure how to implement the logic for the filter since I haven't used it with any sort of math. I would think YouTube would help with filters but no luck not even with dating app clone videos
