Photo upload takes forever. Multiple images / Local Storage

Troubleshooting

Hi everyone!

I've integrated local photo uploads to my FF app using the "Store Media for Upload" action with "Multiple Photos" set to true.

This workflow works just fine, but when testing, it takes almost 60 seconds to upload 30 images! That's way too long.

Could you please advise on how to improve efficiency??

I'm uploading to local storage, then sending the uploaded images to Xano via an API. The API request to Xano is lightning-fast, but the time to upload from my camera gallery to the local storage is super long.

What have you tried so far?

I've tried changing iPhone camera settings to "Most Compatible" (JPEG format) as low as 12 MP to see if that helps... it doesn't.

I've also tried using the "Resize" option on the "Store Media for Upload" action and the "Image Quality" option. But I wonder if this is actually increasing the time it takes to display the images on the page since there is additional processing involved.
