Place Picker CORS issue solution

Troubleshooting

When using the place picker widget on web, we all get CORS issue. (and we FF has "a lot going on" so no fixes in near futur)
Did anyone solved this problem, or got an alternative?

What have you tried so far?

We are trying to recreate the widget from an api etc.. but we are not really working it out , is there any other solution that some of you used?
I've heard of using a proxy but very unsecure.

PS: we are using supabase
