Pre-existing documents, in a user's sub-collection

Hello everyone, I'm having some issues with the Firebase schema. How can I put pre-existing documents (before the app is downloaded) inside a sub-collection of the user?

What have you tried so far?

I attempted to create user sub-collections, but it seems that the data within isn't being saved for other users.
