Private API call request blocked

I have been using ff for a while now and I have never encountered this issue. basically while I was adding an API call and made it private as per usual, but while deploying the Cloud function to make the call private I got this error "Error: FlutterFlow has insufficient permissions. Make sure to re-watch

the "Adding Firebase" tutorial and follow all necessary steps."

What have you tried so far?

I reread the documentation on adding firebase and watched the tutorial video. I also made sure that the email @firebase.flutter.io had the necessary permissions. In general most of my firebase setup seems to be in order although I am open to any suggestions on that front.
