Project already added but when deploying cloud functions get "Error: No Firebase project present in FlutterFlow project. Please set your Firebase project ID in Firebase settings."

I am a user collaborating on a project and that project already has Firebase set up and has been for months. I created a cloud function in flutterflow and get this strange error

"Project already added but when deploying cloud functions get "Error: No Firebase project present in FlutterFlow project. Please set your Firebase project ID in Firebase settings."

Again project is already added and the owner has deployed functions before

What have you tried so far?

I tried using the desktop app and web of flutterflow. Not sure what else to try.
