I get a null error on my index for a state variable. i set this variable from page parameter on page load. however it briefly nulls since i have containers doing a conditional visibility check based on this local page state var. when i set initial value it's gone, however since it's an immage list i cannot just set a random picture as it will briefly show in the app.
