TestFlight Issue – "Ready to Submit" & Cannot Add Testers

Troubleshooting

I successfully submitted my iOS app to TestFlight for testing. However, I cannot receive the app update on my iPhone’s TestFlight.

When I check in App Store Connect, the app status is "Ready to Submit", and I noticed that no tester group has been added. The option to add testers is disabled.

I received an email from Apple with the following details:

  • ITMS-90725: SDK version issue – My app was built with iOS 17.4 SDK, and Apple requires iOS 18 SDK for uploads starting April 24, 2025.

  • ITMS-90078: Missing potentially required entitlement – The app may use APNs but lacks the APS Environment Entitlement in its provisioning profile.

Further details:

  • The previous version worked fine, but now I cannot add testers.

  • Even when I increment the app version, the issue persists.

  • Rolling back to a previously working version also does not allow adding testers.

Has anyone experienced this issue? How can I resolve it?

Thanks in advance!

What have you tried so far?

Checked TestFlight Status – The app is listed as "Ready to Submit," but I cannot add testers.

Tried Incrementing the App Version – Uploaded a new version, but the issue remains.

Tried Using a Previous Working Version – Even when I attempt to re-upload a version where testers were previously added, the option is still disabled.

Reviewed App Store Connect Settings – Ensured that TestFlight is enabled and checked the tester group settings.
