The image viewer in the FF-built web app does not display images.

Widgets & Design

I’m encountering an issue where the image viewer in a web app built using FF does not display images properly. The problem is consistent on mobile browsers, where images fail to appear entirely or show an error image. On desktop, the behavior varies—not only between different browsers but also within the same browser under different conditions.

Observations:

  • Mobile Browsers: The issue occurs consistently—images do not display or show an error icon.

  • Desktop Browsers: The behavior varies across browsers and sometimes even within the same browser under different settings or sessions.

  • Some images load correctly, while others fail to display with no clear pattern regarding file type, size, or resolution.

  • Reloading the page does not always fix the issue.

  • Tested across multiple devices and browsers with mixed results.

Request:

Has anyone experienced similar inconsistencies? Could there be browser-specific rendering issues at play? Any insights or troubleshooting suggestions would be greatly appreciated.(Images are loaded from firebase storage. It is dynamic network images

What have you tried so far?

Tried enabling canvas kit, deployed to firebase by downloading code and using skwasm.
