The test mode and Run mode are rendering the fonts all closed together - very different from the build screen

the build mode renders the fonts fine (I am using the default fonts from Flutterflow).

However, the test mode (or Run modes), the space between the letters disappear and makes it quite hard to read. See below:

That is observed when running test mode or run mode on an Android device (Galaxy S21,Android version 14). It seems to work fine on a browser.

What have you tried so far?

I tried a few different fonts no result. I've already spent quite a good amount of time varying the size of fonts, the colour, fonts themselves and letter spacing without much progress.
