Transactional Emails

Integrations

Unfortunately, we've hit a roadblock with notifications as Flutterflow hasn't provided a satisfactory solution for web push notifications yet. In light of this, we're considering adopting a more traditional approach by implementing transactional emails for notifications, reminiscent of platforms like PlentyOfFish.

We aim to trigger an email notification each time a user receives a new message within our app. However, we could use some guidance and assistance in setting up this system effectively.

We understand that integrating transactional emails entails several steps, from choosing an Email Service Provider to implementing the email-sending functionality within our app. As such, any advice or support you could offer in this regard would be immensely appreciated.

What have you tried so far?

One Signal - Web push notification with GitHub (conflicts with custom domain currently in place with flutterflow) Removal of the custom domain will affect the installation process via www.progressier.com All future updates would become a very lengthy custom coding process.

One Signal - Attempt to implement transactional email API. This method does not work as you cannot edit who the email is going to other than your imported contacts.

Brevo - Currently in progress. Their API has a field on who to send the email to without having to import contacts.

Mailersend - In progress.

Backendflow? - Pricing is way too high and very limited emails per month.
