Unable to Upload Credentials – “Failed to upload file. Please try again.”

Project Settings

Hi everyone,

This is my very first time building an app, and I’m not a programmer, just someone trying to learn and publish an English learning app with FlutterFlow. I’ve tested the app using FlutterFlow’s built-in tools, and everything works fine.

However, when trying to upload my service account credentials to connect with Google Play Store, I keep getting this error:
“Failed to upload file. Please try again.” (screenshot attached)

I’ve followed all the steps from your official guide here: https://docs.flutterflow.io/deployment/google-playstore-deployment/

and
🔗 https://docs.codemagic.io/yaml-publishing/google-play/#configure-google-play-api-access
and also watched the video tutorials multiple times, trying to fix it step-by-step — but no success.

I really don’t know what’s wrong or where the problem is happening. Has anyone experienced this exact issue and managed to solve it?

A few more details that might help:

  • I just subscribed to FlutterFlow Pro and am still in my 14-day trial — could that be a reason?

I already set up everything for my app in Google Play Console and am only waiting to upload the .aab file from FlutterFlow but now I’m stuck because I can’t even upload the credentials into FlutterFlow.

Any help, even basic or beginner-friendly, would be deeply appreciated. 🙏
    Thanks in advance!

What have you tried so far?

I’ve tried the following steps to fix the issue:

  1. Followed the entire instructions in the Flutterflow documentation:
    https://docs.flutterflow.io/deployment/google-playstore-deployment/

  2. Double-checked that the package name matches in both FlutterFlow and Google Play Console.

  3. Watched the official FlutterFlow video tutorial on how to set up Google Play deployment.

  4. Regenerated and downloaded a new credentials.json file multiple times from Google Cloud.

  5. Confirmed that my app is already created and listed in Google Play Console, with the correct package name.

  6. Tried uploading the credentials.json file again after each attempt — still got the same error.
