Very slow Dropdown Widgets

There is some sort of issue surrounding the Dropdown widgets and a Date-Selection, whether its a small/large static list or a list from an API there is a delay after clicking an option.
There is a page/component that requires several Dropdowns for selections and all are slow (only after clicking an option)

What have you tried so far?

No other buttons or page-loads have an issue, it is only the Dropdowns.
I tried static lists, loading the list in an APP-State first or directly from the API.
Does not matter if its used in a component or on a separate page.
