Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced FlutterFlow/Firebase Developer to join our team on a part-time basis, contributing 40-60 hours per month. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both design and development within the FlutterFlow environment, coupled with proficient use of Firebase as a backend service. A background in project management is a plus but is not required.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop high-quality, user-centric mobile applications using FlutterFlow.
Integrate Firebase services (authentication, database, storage, etc.) to ensure seamless backend functionality.
Write basic Google Cloud Functions in node.js to extend app capabilities.
Collaborate with the project team to define, design, and ship new features.
Translate UI/UX designs into highly responsive app interfaces.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for custom functions, widgets, and actions.
Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
Diagnose, fix bugs, and perform testing to ensure robustness and stability.
Stay up-to-date with new technology trends, applications, and protocols in mobile development.
Requirements
Proven work experience as a FlutterFlow developer with a robust portfolio of previous work.
Strong knowledge of Firebase, including Firestore, Firebase Auth, and Cloud Functions (Node.js).
Proficient in designing applications and translating UI/UX designs into functional app interfaces.
Comfortable with writing basic custom code, including custom functions, widgets, and actions.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Must be available during some US business hours for collaboration and meetings.
Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
At least 2 years of experience in FlutterFlow and Firebase development.
A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of projects developed in FlutterFlow.
