Hi All!
I'm working on an app for an event. I am having a very hard time making a map feature that is pretty critical. What's needed is a way to see a map and then click on various areas of the map and getting a popup/tooltip/whatever that shows additional text.
One approach would be to have the map as an image that then gets the tooltips overlaid on top somehow.
A secondary approach would be to create rectangular boxes with text numbers on top of it, and have them be clickable to trigger a tooltip. However, with this approach, I'd have to figure out a way in FF where you can scroll horizontally and vertically in order to really be able to see the boxes and the numbers on them.
Does anyone have any input here? I'd love to get through this, as it's the last major hurdle to releasing the app.
Thanks!
