How to make Snack bar visible when bottom sheet is open?

is there anyway to change the z-index of a snack bar or bottom sheet? I'd like a snack bar to display if a user doesn't check a box on a bottom sheet i have, but i've noticed it fires beneath the bottom sheet ...
