Option 1:

You would have to create a cloud function and it will will create duplicate documents on the same dates every year from there depending on how man years in the future you want.

Pros: It will not fail, once the cloud function is triggered it is done and deleting the documents is also much easier using a firebase extention that already exists but you have to use document ID to sync the first meeting to the others, store the meeting or document info in data types and tell it to delete them when the first one is deleted (I think the extension is called Connect Document or Connect to Document. Its Yellow).

Drawbacks: You have write the cloud function which means having a deeper level of understanding of cloud functions.

Option 2: Create custom code that gives you a list future dates and then create an action for each future date document till whenever the user chooses. so if its a meeting every month for 36 months, you will have to create 36 actions and so on.

Pros: Less knowledge required to do this one. Just need the custom code and the actions

Drawbacks: If the meetings need to be modified or deleted you can use the extension in option 1 but if not, you will have to create an update or delete action for each future date/meeting unless you can create custom code to modify or delete all. Your app may crash depending on the number of actions. It is prone to fail if internet is cut off or the user exists the app which means some actions will be complete and others won't.

You can use option 2 to create the documents and use option one to edit and delete them. Thats the most efficient way without the complicated cloud function.

Now to list them you just filter the meetings by matching them to first meeting or you can filter them by the month and day format and it will show every meeting that matches a specific month and day regardless of year.
