I am making an app where landlords and tenants can communicate about a property, and am struggling with the database.
When a user creates a new property, they need to add other users to that document, either as a landlord or a tenant. So, I need user "X" to be able to add users "Y" and "Z" to a property. However, user "X" doesn't know if users "Y" and "Z" already exist in the broader user collection. So all they can do is add "Y" and "Z" email, define them either as a landlord or tenant, and the back end needs to resolve this, and I am unsure how to go about that.
