I've been developing with Flutterflow for over a year now, but I have always faced performance issues and very bad developer experience, like the project lags, if you need to add a new widget, it will lag and take 2-3 seconds, writing custom code will take delays, sometimes hitting the download apk will crash the desktop app. Overall, the developer experience is really frustrating that makes me almost twice a day to think "code would have been better". Am I exaggerating or is this something others have experienced too.
Example: We have a client project that has gone for over a year now, lots of screens, api calls, custom work, and it basically has become impossible to keep working.
