Can we set column width in Data Table to minimum and maximum?

I am playing with Data Table control.

I have added a few columns. I want to set the minimum width of column to x value and maximum width to y value.

I cannot find any settings to set this.

How can we do this?

Another thing I observed is that after placing the data table control on page and setting various columns if I try to resize the width of data table it get the following message.
