On the choice chip widget you can not set a value for each chip independent on the text of the chip, if your app is in different languages the actual values will be diferent, lets say you want to filter a query based on the chip selection, if you have users from diferent countries it makes it impossible to standarize the selected value for everyone, Ive had to creat my own chips with buttons and making annoying logic depending on the chip selected inserting a value on a local state variable an other things to make it work like choice chips but with diferent value than the showed on the chip.
